Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Day 2: Delhi to Manali (Approx. 12-13 hours drive)
  • Morning Departure: After breakfast, begin your journey from Delhi to Manali. The scenic drive takes you through the plains of North India and into the foothills of the Himalayas.
  • Arrival in Manali: Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax after a long drive.
  • Evening at Leisure: You can take a walk along Mall Road and enjoy the cool mountain air.

Day 3: Manali to Jispa (Approx. 5-6 hours drive)
  • Morning Departure: After breakfast, start your drive from Manali to Jispa along the Manali-Leh Highway. The route offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, deep valleys, and rivers.
  • Rohtang Pass: Cross the famous Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft), a high-altitude mountain pass that offers panoramic views.
  • Arrival in Jispa: Check into your guesthouse in Jispa, a quaint village nestled in the Lahaul Valley.
  • Evening at Leisure: Enjoy the peaceful surroundings by the Bhaga River.

Day 4: Jispa to Leh (Approx. 9-10 hours drive)
  • Morning Departure: After an early breakfast, continue the journey to Leh. This is one of the most scenic drives of the entire tour, passing through high-altitude landscapes.
  • Baralacha La Pass: Cross the Baralacha La Pass (16,040 ft) and witness its dramatic, rugged beauty.
  • Sarchu Plains: Travel across the Sarchu Plains, an open, desert-like stretch surrounded by towering peaks.
  • Tanglang La Pass: Ascend the Tanglang La Pass (17,480 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
  • Arrival in Leh: Arrive in Leh by evening, check into your hotel, and relax.

Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing and Acclimatization

  • Arrival in Nubra Valley: Upon arrival, visit Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest monastery in the region, and admire the giant Maitreya Buddha statue.
  • Hunder Sand Dunes: Visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel safari on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels.

Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (Approx. 6-7 hours drive)
